Sleek and silent as they come,<br>
with voices full of ancient hum.<br>
Singing songs of nature's grace,<br>
who'se magic transcends both time and space.<br>
Journeying across the morning sky,<br>
toward misty mountains to which they fly.<br>
To dwell in majestic marbled caves,<br>
filled with treasure of which legend raves.<br>
Yet peaceful creatures these dragons be,<br>
and all the lands they oversee.<br>
On special nights they fly down and dance,<br>
they sing of joy as they play and prance.<br>
These giant serpents of fire and storm,<br>
get down and play with hearts so warm.<br>
Long into the night did they dance and feast,<br>
and all were invited were they man dragon or beast.<br>
So feel lucky that if someday perchance,<br>
you should be invited to the dragon dance.<br>
