They find the right time to see inside your soul.
They always know just what to do
And show you where to go.

Helping solve what matters most and given a time or 2,
They always guide and, through happenchance,
Know exactly what to do.

Forceful or thoughtless, guidance that's true
Fearless and strong, showing old and new.
Think of these things and once in a while
Make moves that guide your feet.
Don't slip or slide, stay firm to ground
Helping you smile at people you guide and greet.

Odd to no end, you'll question its thought
through trials and ends, that's true.
They guide and feel, holdking you close
Helping you grow anew.

Darkness that holds you, LIght that guides
A teacher that's old and new.
