Haven, Journey, Rebirth by Callsfire Fargis

(Haven) Searching for that place just beyond reach, entrance to which in our dreams we beseech. Across a sea of hopes and dreams, lies a land of visions though not quite what it seems. It holds something for all who seek, and what each shall find is quite unique. A dream for every searching heart, a place not found on any chart. Where hopes are fulfilled and passions born, a place without the worries of sorrow and scorn. Always at the journeys end, seeming as if just around the bend. Only found by those who hope and trust, and never stained by those unjust. When sharpened sword is laid to ground, when understanding reigns this place shall be found. Such a challenge it is this place to find, as search we all through our daily grind. And each of us may have his own, as through our hearts the way is shown.

(Journey) The epic of time like an endless road, A path on which so many have strode, Your life but a journey along. The path you will find, Determined by body and mind, Your choice is your fate for all time. But you can't always know, Which way you should go, For the path you can't always see. Yet ever so often a time comes along, And the path is shown like the words of a song, It's hard to know which way to choose. Then there's the time when you know in your heart, Which path to go and which way to start, Knowing now you make your way. Yet your journey can lead you hither and yon, Leaving behind friends as you travel beyond, Onto a new journey to lands far away. As much as it hurts it's sometimes for the best, For a new path thus wrought yields more than the rest, Remember this always as you make your way. Travel the road which your heart has led, Be true to yourself or you're better off dead, For the road thus traveled makes all the difference.

(Rebirth) The dawn is coming and I welcome the morn, a moment of truth a dragon reborn. As sunlight shears skin from scales, restoring my trueform as the ancient curse fails. Magic again courses my veins, as the ground beneath my shifting form strains. Forces of elements flowing inside, in draconity shall I forever reside. To spread my wings and soar the skies, and from them to watch the glorious sun rise. Finally I can shuffle off this human coil, freed at last from the daily toil. Passions kept deep again may flow, with the wind beneath my wings around the world I may go. Again I can feel the heat of my breath, now I am freed from a fate worse than death. No longer behind a mask must I hide, for once I can be what I am deep inside. At last I can feel my own self worth, as I rejoice and cherish my own rebirth.
