In almost every race and culture there are myths and legends concerning dragons. As the peoples of the world move into the digital age, so too does their culture. In the online metaverse of Second Life, where imagination rules above all else, the fabled dragons of legend truly live and breathe.

The Wyrmlings

Fabled explorer Daryth Kennedy has travelled the mountains, swamps, plains and islands of Second Life cataloguing many new species, breeds and types of dragon.

Daryth's journals are faded and worn and peeling at the edges, with some pages missing entirely. Sometimes all that can be deciphered is a scant sentence or single word.

Anubis Wyrmling

First Sighting:
Native Color: Black body, black feathered wings and gold claws
Breath:A blast of sand
Aura:A sandstorm of scarab beetles

  • The Anubis Wyrmling comes with two heads, a one with a ornamented hood and one without.

Aquatic Wyrmling

First Sighting:
Native Color: Aquatic scales and spines with Gold claws
Breath: A jet of water and bubbles


Astral Wyrmling

First Sighting:
Native Color: Amethyst scales, with Gold horns and Cloud wings and spines
Breath: Planets and Stars, in a stream of night-sky


Bast Wyrmling

First Sighting:
Native Color: Black body, blue/white feathered wings and gold claws

Dracolich Wyrmling

First Sighting:
Native Color: Bone
Breath: A blast of pure death and decay
Aura: A blast of pure death and decay

  • The Dracolich Wyrmling comes with a rotting guts attachment (which swaps with aura) and raises it's paws in flight.
  • The Dracolich Wyrmling can open or close it's mouth.
  • The Dracolich Wyrmling comes with a "clutch" saddle where the passenger is carried in the front claws.

Fae Wyrmling

First Sighting:
Native Color: Purple
Breath: A colourful stream of flowers and leaves
Aura: Coloured stars, like flower petal

  • The Fae Wyrmling comes with two sets of Wings, Fairy and Butterfly.

Fire Wyrmling

First Sighting:
Native Color: Fire scales and spines with Gold claws
Breath: Jet of flames

  • The Fire Wyrmling comes with two heads, the original head and the new head.

Hydra Wyrmling

First Sighting:
Native Color: Red scales with Black spines and Bronze claws
Breath: A searing jet of Flames from each head

  • The Hydra wyrmling comes with two styles of bodies: one with two tails instead of just one.

Ice Wyrmling

First Sighting:
Native Color: Mercury scales and spines with Silver horns and claws
Breath: A blast of snowflakes


Royal Wyrmling


First Sighting:
Native Color: Royal scales with Gold spines
Breath: An electrifying bolt of lightning


Shadow Wyrmling

First Sighting:
Native Color: Black scales with Red spines and Ancient horns and claws
Breath: A thick blast of blood and darkness


Spirit Wyrmling

First Sighting:
Native Color: White scales, full bright and partially transparent
Breath: A stream of light and stars
Aura: White Mist

  • The Spirit Wyrmling comes with two heads, a normal head and a flight head.

Steam Wyrmling

First Sighting:
Native Color: Red scales with metallic wings, legs and tail
Breath:Steam and Fire
Aura:Smoke and Steam

  • The Steam Wyrmling comes with two heads, a normal head and a cyborg head.

Storm Wyrmling

First Sighting:
Native Color: Silver scales with Gold horns and claws
Breath: Breathes bolts of lightning from its mouth


The Wyverlings

When Daryth returned to the Isles at last she brought with her tales of strange new creatures that were reptilian in nature and winged like the dragons but yet different too: these new creatures walked on two legs instead of four and possessed an almost feline intelligence and sense of grace. Found in myth and legend they are called Wyverns and are reckoned by many to be some distant cousin of the noble dragon.

Daryth thumbed through her newest journal shaking sands and dried mud from the leaves as drawings and passages of text flashed by under her fingers and thumbs. She paused for a moment and then spun the little book around:

Arctic Wyverling

Native Color: Ice blue scales with silvery crystalline protective ridges and azure claws
Breath:None
Aura:Poison from the tail


Desert Wyverling

First Sighting:
Native Color: Brown scales with sandy protective ridges and Bone-white claws

Aura:Fireball
