Hedgehog Spring Festival 2008

On the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of March, the isle of Wyrms will be playing host to the Spring Hedgehog Festival. This will be a weekend devoted to fun and games for our cuddly little hedgie friends.

Throughout the weekend there will be many games and events running. There will be a maze where those who successfully complete it will be entered into a draw to win a prize (as well as winning a prize for completing it). There will also be a fun activity area where tinies can play and have fun.

On Saturday, will be the opening of the snail racecourse and the special lone star ranch racing snails. The race course will be a tricky course with tight bends, that will test the speed and maneuverability of the best snail and rider. This is a chance to get some practice in for the snail race to be held on Sunday.

Following the snails at 12:30 - 2:00pm SLT will be a dance event at the Hatchie Haven dance area. Classical Japanese music, poetry and dance performed by Mineko Teahouse will follow at 2:30pm and reading of competition entries from the Golden Quill poetry competition at 4pm SLT.

On Sunday there will be a Hedgie Wonderland Ball at 1:00pm SLT till 4:00pm SLT and during the Ball the announcements of the winners of the Maze, Snail Race, Costume Contest and Golden Quill will be announced.
