What's New
Isle of Wyrms Town Hall
On Saturday, April 14th, 2007 at 3pm, a Town Hall event was held. It started with speeches from the Isle of Wyrms Mayor Apollo Aridian, the Great Headgewyrm Daryth Kennedy, and the Great Wyrm Elder Onix Harbinger. There were a few announcements from Kalira Stromer regarding community direction and community events. This was immediately followed up by a question and answer section.
Wyverns Come to the Dragon Isles
Wyverns are cousins of the traditional dragon that walk on two legs and possess an almost feline sense of intelligence and temperament. These majestic additions to the Isles family were hatched during the first weekend in March and are available now to Council of Wyrms members, and to the general public at the next Release Event.
A New Hatching System
As Second Life grows and as the Dragon Isles develop it will always be necessary to examine different ways of running large scale events, in order to continue to provide the best experience for everyone involved. The release of the Wyverns saw the introduction of a new system for the Hatching Events, which is outlined in the Hatching Format Primer and explained in the updated Release Events FAQ.
