When used in the context of Daryth Kennedy's dragons, the term Dragon Isles or simply Isles generally refers to the principal places of the dragons, either in context where they are called the Isle of Wyrms and the Valley of Wyrms or in a Second Life sense, where they are referred to by their sim names, Limbo and Lethe. Each sim that makes up the collective Isles has many unique and interesting places to visit:

Contents

Isle of Wyrms (Limbo)

A breathtaking, immersive environment full of old stone and semi-forgotten architecture bordered with snaking pathways, turbulent waterfalls and ancient trees the Isle showcases Daryth's imagination and talent. It is truly a place where dragons can roam and feel at home. Some of the major points of interest here are:

One of the most fun things to do on the Isle of Wyrms is to simply explore and discover the many semi-hidden areas and enjoy the ambience of large dragons flying overhead and little ones scurrying on the ground below.

Valley of Wyrms (Lethe)

A largely residential sim, Lethe plays host for the appartments, castles and houses. If you wander around the sim you will see dazzling gemstones glittering under the light and great stone heads spewing forth waterfalls from the depths of the Border Mountain ranges. While many of the places and parcels are private residences there are still some interesting things to see.

  • Land Rentals are sometimes available in Lethe, check the Dragon Cave Rentals page for details.

Song of Wyrms (Lyre)

Also a residential sim. Here can be found the ships of pirate hatchlings, majestic castles and palaces.

The Cathedral (Cathedral)

Featuring a towering structure frequented by those who which to become a dragon, this is the place to go for your dragon avatar purchasing needs:

The Open Spaces Sims

Tir na Lir, Tir Infernis, Tir Niva and Tir na Nog are the Open Space sims. These provide a connection to the Elven lands to the east, as well as providing a residential and work area for some of the Isle of Wyrms' Guardians and Elders, the keepers of our lands.

Dragon Fire (Tir Infernis)

A land of sweeping hills and deep valleys. The perfect place to test your flying skills.

Sea Dragon (Tir na Lir)

Tir na Lir sweeps down from the high volcano into the sea. A bridge across the river joins a islet where a quiet and scenic enclave is located. This is the home to the Isle of Wyrms Guildhall. Giant mushrooms have been known to grow here.

Tir Na Lir provides a connection to the Elven lands to the east.

Eternal Dragon (Tir na Nog)

A maze of rings surrounds a quiet residence.

Dragonfrost (Tir Niva)

Not much is known of this land, majestic snowcapped mountains sweep into the sky and an ancient temples lies on the coast. The faint sound of a sheep bleating and chalk on a board can also be heard.
